“bicycle romance. ra ra ro ma ma…
Last week my morning walk to the train was pleasantly improved upon by love. Parked in front of Starbucks was a lovely black vintage-y bicycle. Held in place by the bike’s coil bike lock, a bouquet of hand-picked flowers was wrapped in a note. The torn out notebook paper was scribbled on in sharpie. “Tonight was wonderful, x”
That’s true romance, I thought, kicking myself that I was running late and couldn’t rationalize digging through my bag to take a picture. I imagined the bike’s owner coming later that morning to start her day and finding something so sweet. I wondered if she would wonder, like I did, where someone would pick such wild flowers near Newbury. But then I thought that bike-riding romantics were less tethered to the four block radius & could have travelled really anywhere on their search.
This morning, I was reminded what true romance really looks like. Parked in front of Starbucks was a rain-soaked black vintage-y bicycle. Held in place by the bike’s coil bike lock, the tattered corner of a note clung, damp and smeared. On the ground in a four foot radius from the bike were the remains of a scraggly bouquet, and the last few scraps of the note. Once reading a message of love, the sharpie had bled after days of abandonment in the rain, and now told a different story.
I guess not everyone thought that night was wonderful.

Nice closing doors story but wacky video.
They have a wacky sense of …everything over there from our perspective. But they are great fans of folding bikes!
Sorry I meant slidding doors story
